IMPORTANT NOTE: From the current academic year there is possibility of increase
in fees. It is obligatory for the students to pay increased fees.

All fees, are payable in cash only. No cheques, money orders will be accepted.

The fees will be accepted in the office between 10.30 a.m. To 2.00 p.m. on all working days.
The students willing to continue in their courses should pay the fees immediately after the results are declared.

The First Term should be paid at the time of fresh admission and before 30th June in case of continuing students.

The Second Term Fees should be paid before 30th December of each year.

Caution Money – All students have to pay Rs…………. as caution money while taking fresh
Admission to college.

Note – Original Certificate will be verified while Seeking Admission, incomplete Application
Form will not be considered for Admission.

STUDY TOUR

A study excursion tour of students is arranged every year under the guidance of the members of the staff to some

places of educational or cultural importance.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The ‘Rang-Re-kha’, a Representative Body of the Students devoted to educational, cultural and sports activities, organizes Lecturers,

Demonstrations, and Exhibitions, film Show, Seminars and Sport activities for the benefit of the students.

IDENTITY CARD

(a) Every student of the college must have an identity card which is supplied by the college on
payments of Rs.100.

(b) A passport size (3cm x 4cm) latest Photograph of the student must be produced for the
identity card by the student concerned.

(c) Students must carry their Identity Cards with them and produce the same at the time of
payment of fees or on demand by any member of the staff of the College.

(d) The student should communicate to the College Authorities, if any change in their address.

(e) Any misuse of Card will be deal with severely.

(f) If the Identity Card is lost or misplaced, the student concerned must apply in writing within
three days after the loss. Duplicate Identity Card will be issued on payment of Rs. 50/- If,
however, the students fail to apply for Duplicate Card within the prescribed period and if the
authorities are not satisfied with the explanation for the delay, the student will be fined
Rs.50/- in addition to the charge for the Duplicate Identity Card.
RULES FOR REFUND OF TUITION FEES

Tuition fees paid by the students at the time of admission to the Institute will be refunded in the following circumstances to the extent indicated below subject to the condition that a written application for the refund of fees is submitted by the student concerned to the head of the Institution :-

(1) Fifty percent of the first installment of the term’s fees actually paid will be refunded if
student leaves the Institute within fortnight of his joining the Institute.

(2) The whole of the first installment of fees will be forfeited to Government if a student leaves
the Institute after the above period.

(3) The whole amount of tuition fees actually paid will be refunded to a student who -

(i) Has been admitted provisionally but whose admission is subsequently cancelled.

(ii) Leaves the Institute to join a Degree-Diploma Course in Engineering, Science,
Technology or a similar professional course of study, provided that –

(ii-a) At the time of applying for admission the student intimates in writing that he intends to
apply or has actually applied for admission to one or more professional courses of study; &

(ii-b) Makes a written application for refund of fees to the Head of the Institute within one
fortnight form the date of his admission to the professional course of study. The
application in such cases should be accompanied by a certificate from the head of the
Professional Institution actually joined by the student stating therein the date of his
application for admission to that institution and the date of his admission to that
institution.
GOVERNMENT OF INDIA SCHOLARSHIPS

Government of India Scholarships to the B.C. Students The scheme of grant of Government of India Scholarships to the Backward Class Students (S.C./ST/NT/VJ) for post S.S.C. Courses is implemented by the Director of Social Welfare, Maharashtra State, Pune. The backward Class Students undertaking approved post S.S.C. Courses are considered eligible for the Government of India scholarships according to the revised rules.

OTHER EDUCATIONAL CONCESSIONS

There are other Educational concessions such as Concessions to the Children of the Freedom Fighters, Primary Teacher, Economically Backward Classes, and Orthopedically handicapped Students. Etc. sanctioned either by the State or Central Government on the terms and conditions specified every year. Students are advised to see the office in respect of the award of various Educational Concessions from time to time.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS

The merit scholarships and free-studentships have been sanctioned by the government for the various Departments. The ratio of the scholarships will be 6 percent and free studentship 10 percent of the students in each class.

AWARDS

Cash prizes of Rs. 500, 300 & 200 will be awarded by the Government of Maharashtra one each in the Departments of (i)Painting, (ii) Applied Art, (iii)Textile Design & (iv) Teachers Training to the students whose work are adjudged best at the Annual Exhibition.

FELLOWSHIPS

Two fellowships are awarded annually in the Departments of Painting, Applied Art & Textile Design each to the students who are at top in merit list (minimum Second Class) in BFA Final Examination in the said Courses.

EXAMINATIONS

There will be Terminal & University exam for Degree Courses. There will be Terminal & Government Examinations for Diploma Courses.

SESSIONAL MARKS

Sectional Marks include the marks obtained by the student in the subject concerned taking into account the total achievement of the student in the College Examinations, his class work and the tutorials. The students have to execute prescribed number of assignments every year as per the syllabus.

Scholarships

Practicals

As per G. R., Edn. Dept., No. ADR-1870/100257, dated 24th April 1973 following merit Scholarships and Freeships are awarded :- 
Scholarships: 6 per cent and 
Freeships: 10 per cent of the students in each class.
Rate of Scholarships: Rs. 25 per month for 1st year B.F.A. Class and Rs. 35 per month for the other classes.

As per G.R., E. and S.W.D., No. AED-1089/10155-Q, dated the 15th May 1970–18, stipends are granted at the rate of Rs. 75 per month to the students of the Diploma in Art Education Class.
There are several other merit scholarships, endowment scholarships prizes and freeships which are regularly awarded to students as per regulations. The Registrar of the Institute may be contacted for information.

Study Excursion

A study excursion of the selected students is arranged every year to the places of artistic and historical interest.

Library

The Collage has a rich library which contains a collection of reference books for students. Books are not allowed to be taken outside the premises of the Library.

High-tech Computer Lab

We have multiple computer labs for all departments spread across campus equipped with Mac's and PCs, as well as a Graphic suite of software. Here student can access to the internet and help in the assignment, presentation, reports, projects etc...

Extra-Curricular Activities

Kaladeep - Students' Organisation of Institute conducts cultural activities, sports etc.This organisation should not interfere the administration of this Institute and educational curriculum.
